We stayed near the end of September. Since there is no A/C (which we knew in advance), we opened the windows. Unfortunately, this allows mosquitoes and flies in the room. The breakfast, while nice, was the same as any other continental breakfast we had in Switzerland. The bathroom had been nicely remodeled but the rest of the room was very tired and in need of refurbishment. The location was excellent, clean, easy to get a bus into town or train station and very quiet. The view from the dining area was spectacular. Even the back of the hotel (not toward the mountains) where our room was located was very pleasant. Unlike every other place we stayed in Switzerland, the room was not equipped with a mini-fridge.

Very helpful owners. Staff are friendly . Home like environment with a good laundry facility in the hotel that is very helpful for a longer stay.

Loved the early check-in. My room had an amazing view. It is walkable, but may be a little rough for some. About a 7 minute walk to the gondola stop.

Old world charm. Very good condition. Delicious breakfasts. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We did visit at a time when the weather was much hotter than usual and there was no A/C. Which made for uncomfortable nights, but the whole town had the same problem. We would stay here again.
