The photos on Expedia of the property are at least 25 years old. The place has potential but is so neglected and outdated. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and the rooms are very old and basic. Check-in hours are very inconvenient as we missed the email that informed us they only open between 2 and 4 pm and between 6:30pm to 8:30pm. By chance we arrived at 3:45 but got a bad attitude because the receptionist wanted to leave. He didn’t give us any wifi or other information and rushed us in the room. If we arrived 15 minutes later we would have stayed in the car for 2.5 hours!!!

Hello thank you for your kind comment having spent one night and seen the other comments ... I wonder about the veracity of your statements , more when you arrived , You were surprised by the schedules I reminded you that you must have received a message from Expedia the day before like all other customers, everything can be explained or argued but you still have the courage to say it...

Pros: Location close to Grimaud and St Tropez
Cons: Home comforts of the room and poor wifi signal
Location: Very handy for getting about
Very basic some would say rustic rooms - absolutely fine for a couple of nights. Setting great and pool area super.

Nice little B&B with excellent hosts
Posted 3 Oct 2011 on HotelsStayed here for four nights during the 3rd week in September. Absolutely lovely with breakfast served on the patio each morning. It is a very quiet location so easy to spend some 'me' time at the pool. The house is off the main road and you definitely need a car if you want to get around.
The house is about 8km from St Tropez. It is 3km from Port Grimaud and 4 Km from Grimaud village, both a must see if you are in the region. It is also about 8km from St. Maxime where you can find some nice sandy beaches.
Breakfast is optional and is typical French breakfast with a hot drink, orange juice, bageutte and croissante. At 12 Euros per head it is a bit pricey but it is nice.
We had room 10 and it was a bit small. It did have a little balcony which was nice to sit out on.
I would definitely recommend this for somebody who is looking for a nice quiet out of the way location.

Hotel La Pierrerie , France was unique
Posted 17 Jul 2011 on HotelsThe Hotel was very querky and unique with the uneven walls and blue shutters, loved having breakfast outside on the terrace, staff were very friendly, we had a lovely time, would definatey go back.

unique, private little hotel for those with cars
Posted 21 Jul 2010One thing that the owners (a family) should fix is doors facing pool area: it cannot be properly closed in some rooms and that allows mosquitoes to come in. surrounding area had a ton of these buggers... other than that it is a small charming family-run hotel very close to St. Tropez and Grimaud (a lot cheaper than any of the crazily priced hotels in St. Tropez.
