The staff was friendly and helpful. The place itself had obviously seen better days. Particularly the bathroon was run-down and the room door did not close well--a lot of light from the hall came through around the door.

Would stay again. Walking distance to Gretna Green and the rail station. Nice place and accommodating people.

Good location for stop over between Scotland and England. Excellent service from Linda. Flexible to meet my travel requirements. Breakfast on the go to support early departure :-)

Friendly and professional staff
Posted 16 Jun 2024 on HotelsEverything went as expected. Although dated in decor the staff were friendly and professional. We requested additional pillows and despite being told they were busy and might take some time, they arrived in less than 30 minutes.

A nice place to stay
Posted 2 Jun 2024 on HotelsVisiting Gretna for a wedding locally. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Found Linda the owner very friendly and helpful if you need any assistance. 20min walk to the Blacksmiths shop. Would recommend👍
