The property is old and quirky which we enjoyed.
There is lovely scenery and enjoyable walks on the doorstep.
Food in the restaurant was good although options were limited as it was the last evening before a seasonal closure.

Room was uncomfortable in July with no AC and only a tiny window fan. No TV in room. Difficult to sleep. Otherwise quiet and pretty surroundings.

Hi Sharon,We do pride ourselves on being removed from the outside world up here in the Northeast Kingdom- sort of part of our charm and why folks book their stays a year in advance- thus you will not find TV's in any of our rooms or cabins. We apologize that it was a warm evening, the heat wave in July is beyond our control. All of the rooms have window fans, as stated on our website, but we do not have central air- normally that is a non-issue.

Friendly guests and staff but disgusting muffins and no pancakes

Hi Andre,Apologies that the muffins were not to your liking... in the future, there are normal muffins and there are a labeled batch of vegan// DF// GF muffins to satisfy the dietary restrictions, which are the variety that you opted for.
