Everything was beautiful but far from everything and the taxi minimum was $42 no matter how close it was.

Over priced food and drinks as there’s nowhere nearby to go. charging for bottles of water! A courtesy bottle every day as a good will gesture would be nice. However these are minor compared to our main issue with YI. Unfortunately Check out was at 11am but our flight wasn’t until 10pm. We asked for a late check out as on arrival we didn’t access our room until 10:30pm and we’re told that this wasn’t possible as our room was allocated to a new arrival. We then asked if there was another empty room that we could move to as the majority of the hotel is out door with only the spa and reception having air-condition which of you have to wait at the property for 9 hours it’s a very uncomfortable wait indeed. But again we’re told the hotel is fully booked and there were no rooms available. HOWEVER we checked on Expedia and there was still availability for rooms and by the look of the hotel it wasn’t full. So basically this hotel lies and sacrifices the comfort and needs of current paying guests JUST INCASE they can sell a last minute room to someone else. Please don’t lie to your customers….. we can find out. In the end we moved to another hotel and paid for one night and used their facilities for our 8 hour wait. Best decision we made. A good hotel wouldn’t lie to their guests, they’d do their best to accommodate them as our 2nd hotel did.

Our party had 11 people, and we had the best time at the Yi Hotel. The staff was extremely kind, made sure we had everything we needed and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area as well. The hotel is brand new and definitely a place I would come to again!

Struttura bellissima, a pochi minuti dalla spiaggia di Elia. La zona della piscina è meravigliosa, le camere grandi e comode e il personale sempre gentile e a disposizione
