Gorgeous courtyard in historic room close to every
Posted 6 Oct 2019 on HotelsOwner is super nice and walks you from the port to the place. It’s would be very difficult to find without his direction but after you learn it’s pretty easy. Location is great fast walk to main shops cafes and food. The narrow walkway does get dark at night so best to go with a friend. The comfort of the shared courtyard is very enjoyable. I would recommend this place for sure.

Great location but not as listed
Posted 2 Sep 2019 on HomeAwayMy brother, my two children (12 and 19 years) and I were looking forward to staying in this cute apartment depicted on the photos and were shocked to discover that the photos did not depict the apartment we actually received but a much smaller one with only one instead of two bedrooms. Instead of a second bedroom, there was 1 bed with a pullout located in the only other room- the kitchen. When pulled out, the entire small space of the kitchen was filled and we could neither open the refrigerator nor the front door. There was a tiny bathroom with a sliding door in the only bedroom but no privacy at all. This was not the apartment we had signed up for and we discovered that some other visitors we talked to (there appeared to be 4 different apartment sharing a small court yard) had a similar experience.
Communication with Vagelis and the check-in process were also disappointing. Vagelis e-mailed me the day before our arrival to let us know he would wait at the pier where our ferry arrived and bring us to the apartment. I e-mailed him and my brother texted him twice with our arrival information but Vagelis was not waiting where he had promised. We then received a message that he would meet us at the pharmacy in town, but he again was not there either when we arrived there. After trying to contact him he finally told us he was on the way, which was now about 45 minutes after our boat had arrived. If that was not enough, he greeted us with an accusation of not responding to his messages (which we actually did) instead of an apology for the delay and confusion. At this point, we were all very tired and hungry and just wanted to get to the apartment. Perhaps we would have enjoyed Vagelis' small tour of the village (about a 10 minutes walk through the small and narrow roads filled with shops and restaurants) better if we had not just traveled from far and were hungry. When we arrived at the apartment we told Vagelis we needed to go find food for the kids, but he sat us down on the bed in the kitchen and was about to show us a 20 minute video about the history and sites on Naxos. He seemed offended that we were too tired and hungry to watch the video and left without telling us details about the apartment and check-out the next morning.
He did leave us a bottle of local wine and marmelade, and the bedroom in the apartment had character and would have been appropriate for a couple, but not a family of 4!

Well located to explore Naxos old town. Beautiful mixture of modern and old building. Complimentary wine and fruit was provided. Cleaning was done every day. We could not ask more.

Fantastic location and matrices better than elsewhere for Greece. Decent kitchenette and bathroom. Again for Greek islands. No garbage can and hard to communicate.
