DON’T STAY HERE They should be Ashamed!

Pros: Location was pretty, pitty they ruined it!
Cons: Too many to list.
Expedia should remove this accommodation immediately. I am an Aussie and have travelled all over Europe and the world staying in hundreds of different hotels. However, unfortunately this hotel/apartment is by far the worst place I have ever had the pleasure (not) to stay in and so I have to comment. So here we go….there was no hot water when we arrived in the evening. There were used towels still in the bathroom (there were clean ones on the bed), the floor and apartment were filthy. The sheets didn’t fit the mattress, I actually had to take the sheets from the spare beds to make up the double bed to cover the mattress. The sheets had frayed edges and they were so thin you could see through them. So I called reception only to complain about the hot water (I just wanted to sleep by then and couldn’t be bothered to complain about the state of the place) and was told that it was because we had just arrived (that makes sense…not!) and that the water would be ready for the morning. Well after a restless uncomfortable night, we awoke and had 2 cold showers in the morning. We just wanted to leave by then, so I met with the owner/manager to give back the keys and told him “Worst hotel stay Ever!”. He asked me if the room was clean. This to me says there was a strong possibility that the room may not have been clean and that he knew it. So after pointing out this along with all the other issues he decided to argue with me. I couldn’t believe it. Not even an apology. DON’T STAY HERE.

In a beautiful port area

The hotel was excellent when comparing the price-quality relation. I had there at off-season so there was nicely quite. And even thought the pool area wasn't yet open, the beach was very calm and quite. The hotel itself might have been little bit more cleaner (even thought a cleaning lady visited there daily). The dinner hotel offered was good and big. The breakfast was quite small, and if you stay there longer you might want some variety, since it was mostly bread, weird yoghurt, musli, and some sweet cookie. The beach isn't the biggest one in Bali, but if you one to go to the bigger one, it takes around 15min to walk there, but the bigger one is more crowded so I preferred the hotel's beach.

Apart Hotel Sophia/Mythos Beach

My first dealings with this hotel upon arrival (60 Euro taxi fare from the airport and then a further 60 back to the airport) was with a member of staff clad in a dirty singlet and shorts and the other in pyjamas, neither of which could direct me to my room however insisted i go across the road to Mythos Beach Hotel where i would get my key. This turned out to be a restaurant run by the owners of the hotel. This information should be on the website or at least something in writing upon arrival as the two people who attended me were most difficult to understand. Eventually I was able to find someone who gave me my key. No assistance with my luggage, considering my age I found it difficult to take my suitcase up 73 stairs. I asked the staff if they could change me to a room nearer the ground floor with out success. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the view from the balcony. The food was mediocre, when ordering drinks from the waitstaff I needed each time to follow up with the whereabouts of my change. Overall i would not recommend this hotel unless you are fit and love climbing stairs.

Παραπλάνηση στις φωτογραφίες που έχουν στο προφίλ του ξενοδοχείου.Το δωμάτιο καλό ηταν αλλά έπρεπε να ανέβουν πάνω από 200 σκαλοπάτια για να πάμε, Τηλεωραση δεν είχε ίντερνετ δεν είχε, το μπαρ δεν λειτουργούσε παρα μονο όταν είχε πρωινό η δείπνο, καφέ δεν σου έκαναν, τα φαγητά κατεψυγμένα προϊόντα τα πιο πολλά, στην παραλία πλήρωνες και τής ομπρέλες πού καθοσουν,σχεδόν κανένας έλληνας υπάλληλος.

Οι εντυπώσεις για το ξενοδοχείο δεν είναι και οι καλύτερες.Τα δωμάτια παλιά και απεριπίητα.Επίσης δεν είχε τηλεόραση.Για να φτάσουμε στο συγκεκριμένο δωμάτιο έπρεπε να ανέβουμε 143 σκαλιά.Επιπλέον για να χρησιμοποιήσουμε την τηλεόραση που δεν υπήρχε και το κλιματιστικό που υπήρχε επρεπε να πληρώσουμε extra χρήματα από τη τιμή που είχαμε κανονίσει

Aber sauber war es schon und alle anderen Angestellten sind auch immer nett gewesen!
