Overall a decent hotel, quite large, and All Inclusive worked well. Good choice of food & drink options throughout the day. Animation team enthusiastic with a fairly reasonable program of activities. Nightly entertainment could be improved with more shows. We were here as the hotel was preparing to close for winter and it felt as though the shutdown was taking place before all the guests had left and the facilities were dwindling by the day! Nevertheless, we enjoyed our holiday and would return here!

Just had 5 nights at this hotel (late October) and it was wonderful. Busy enough to feel part of something, quiet enough so that there were no queues at all for food (which was plentiful, varied and delicious) and plenty of space in every area (poolside, restaurants, etc). Room was comfy, pools were lovely (if a little cold), sun loungers were plentiful, staff were great (my daughter and I did sunset yoga every day - bliss) and only a 25 minute taxi ride from Heraklion Airport. Deserves every one of it's 4 stars.

Overall it was a good hotel. However , there’s always room for improvements. Such as , why do we need to pay 6 euros for cocktails that aren’t on the cocktail list. At others all inclusive, they never charged me extra for an aperol. Also , why charge 1 euro a day for a pool towel, it’s supposed to be an all inclusive . Lastly, serving cocktails in a paper cup near the pool area is just odd.

Great holiday with the family. Family room with a sea view was perfect for us. Food was actually really good. Decent variety. Salads and gyros were stand out. Would highly recommend

Still here now on our last day, the stay has been brilliant, can't fault any of the food, all of the staff are very helpful, even a surprise bottle of wine and hand crafted dessert delivered to our room for my fiancees birthday, completely unexpected, couldn't want for more, We're already looking in booking back in and will bring the kids next time, the is always something going on, the animation team were so energetic non stop all day and night, first night we went for a walk and I was going to buy a gyros, only to find they are part of the all inclusive poolside menu, must have had 2-3 everyday, just perfect, finished off with a relaxing massage today by the expert hands of the on site massage therapists, sorry to be going home, the entire trip has just been nothing short of spectacular, thank you to all of the staff here at the royal belvedere we will be back

The hill walking up to the prperty can be daunting but the hotel resort itself is great. Also the app for the resort could do with improving as the restraunt bookings was slow
