Romantica Hotel meets all expectations

Location: The location was great, and Georguopolis is a lovely resort to visit, basically the countryside meets the sea. Great for all ages. Lovely restaurants.
The Romantica Hotel lived up to its requirements as set out on the web site. It was possible better in real life than on the website. Voula, the manager was very attentive and extremely helpful. The staff were always pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were cleaned every day, except Sundays.

Nice hotel, close to the beach, staff very helpful
Posted 7 Jun 2014The hotel is located near the beach, shops and restaurants yet at night you can sleep well because it is not on a busy street. The staff is very helpful and can advise you about local day trips.

Romantica hotel is very noisy

Pros: It was in a good location and easy to find.
Hotel is very noisy, there were kids shouting and screaming at all hours of the day and night, there was a dog across the road that barked all night long. Our room was on the ground floor next to the pool and the balcony was taken over by the plants that had not been pruned back and everyone walked past the window and balcony to get to the pool. The management weren't very friendly, the only conversation they had with us was when we went to check out and they then offered to recommend places for us to go and visit!

Basic, but clean & friendly!

The location is in right in the middle of the resort & a few mins walk to the long sandy beach. The hotel itself is nice enough, with 3 separate apartment blocks near to the main hotel which are all classed as the "Romantica". The surrounding wasteland was scruffy & a bit disappointing but didn't dampen our holiday. Needs updating.

Basic but friendly

Simple even for Greece, with no shower curtain and only hot plate in kitchen.
Extras for a.c. Which is only in one room of the apartments.
Pool handy but in shade from late afternoon when it warms up.

Posted 4 Jul 2013 on HotelsWas a little skeptical about the location until we arrived. It was perfect. Large well equipped rooms with nice balconies and a charming village. The receptionist Voula was so nice and even helped us with our airline luggage problems. She spoke fantastic English and recommended a great restaurant to go to. My wife and I just wish we had longer to stay.

Pros: Beliggenhet, service, solfylt veranda
Cons: Hadde vært kjekt med et dusjforheng så man slipper å søle så mye på gulvet
Location: Suverent for nærhet til strandliv og for fint utvalg blant gode tavernaer for kveldsmåltid og kveldskos.
Fin sentral beliggenhet i åpen men likevel rolig gate

Hotell resepsjonen.

Resepsjonen var ikke betjent. Til tross for at vi avtalte tid. Kom en time etter avtale.
Vi ønsket os et ekstra laken/ dyne. Det kunne vi ikke få.

Bra overnattingssted og god service. Kjøkken kunne trengt litt oppdatering. Skjeve skapdører og gammelt kjøleskap.
