The property is fine, is just the limited dining around the area, but when I rented the property I knew I had to walk to find better dining options

The location was very good with easy access to the beach, restaurants and shops and the apartment has a great view. The daily cleaning and fresh towels every few days were lovely.
On the downside, it was lacking in cooking supplies (ie. no cutting board and no coffee machine), if you’re planning on eating out every meal then this isn’t a problem.
Also, while the view is great, some shade in the afternoon would have been perfect!

It was great, 10 minute walk to seaside restaurants and 15 mins right into the port town. The beach across the street was very good, very swimmable and the life guard tower is right across the street. Mini mart is 10 minute walk. Perfect location.

Location a decent walk from the port. But location across from beach is phenomenal. Air conditioning in every room was outstanding. The interior was deficient of adequate and nice furniture, the toilet struggled to flush even with one piece of toilet paper, and the place had insects like mosquitos all in the bathroom. Apart from that, and maybe the bed being cheap, decent spot.

On Expedia website, Play on the Sands is advertised in pictures as a lovely building with a garden however our SUPERIOR studio apartment was in a building next do above a derelict restaurant. Although advertised as having a garden, there is NO garden for this apartment. View from the window is a building site next door and it was noisy from the building works on Saturday morning
In my option, there is nothing superior about this apartment. The curtains do not fit properly. The curtain on the window has disgusting stains on it. The sofa bed is covered by a throw however it also has stains on it. The shower pole was detached when we arrived which was dangerous as it holds the shower glass in place. The TV does not work. The shelf by the patio door is about to fall off the wall therefore it is unsafe.
I contacted the hotel management team through expedia however they did not respond. I therefore contacted Expedia who also could not initially get hold of the hotel.
Eventually through Expedia, Play on the Sands offered a £50 refund. This is an absolute insult considering all the ussues. Expedia gave us a £30 refund so a total of £80. This is totally unacceptable.
Housekeeping on exedia, it states daily housekeeping. We stayed for 4 nights/5 days and the room was only cleaned once.
Positives- the room is a reasonable size
The balcony ( although not very clean) is a reasonable size
There is a beach right across the road.
There is a sea view from the balcony

Property faces the beach with a really pretty sunset view, really close to the most popular restaurants, and property was big and clean.

While the apartment was clean and in a great location, the photos advertised were of a different unit and the double bed advertised was actually a sofa bed. This was very disappointing and when we reached out to the management company they didn’t do anything to help and tried playing off their false advertising. The space is great for 4 people but not 6 as the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. I hope the company updates the listing with actual photos of the unit and includes the sofa bed in the listing rather than a double.

Good afternoon dear guests. We have explained clearly, that the beds layout is the same for years and if you read the reviews you cannot find even one addressing a misleading bed photo. This perfectly located apartment (thank you for recognizing the location and cleanliness) is a typical setup for a Greek family with two kids. Parents sleep in the master bedroom. Kids sleep in separate beds (sofa converting to two beds or just twin beds) AND for those who were fve we had a sofa in the living room and for those who were six (an exaggeration if you only have one bathroom) we provided the opportunity of a simple double bed by transforming the couch. We do not showcase two queen-size beds as our primary setup.
