This property is dated that is true but in such a chic sort of way - it is set in the most beautiful grounds and the staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a bus stop right outside that was easy to navigate and took you to the main attractions, Rhodes, Lindos, Seven Spring and numberous beaches. This is the first time we have stayed all-inclusive but it seemed to give plenty of choice, it is true you get what you pay for but I think this was spot on! If you don't mind a green bathroom and smaller than average shower then this definitely fits the bill :)

Relaxed atmosphere and serviceminded staff. No disturbance during night hours. Living up to the name of the place!

We stayed for two weeks as a family of four.
Nicos at the pool bar, george at the main one, and anastasia who does so much to keep the hotel going, were all first class hosts
The gardens, pool, and other facilities are first class! Despite the hotel being full, due to the amount of space in the gardens, it really did feel that you had lots of time, space, and shade to yourself.
It’s on a main road, so the bus routes are very easy to access along with the beach which is about 15 minutes walk. Afandou village has restaurants, convenience, stores, and a range of other facilities, including a road train that takes you down to the sea.
Where food is concerned, the main meals always have a range of items, including vegetarian, options, salad and fruit. Our children are quite particular about food and fussy and there were always options for them. There are a number of local tavernas around and nearby the hotel, and in particular I would recommend one, catholiki, about a 15 minute walk away, but very traditional and local food.
It is a very chilled out, quiet and gorgeous venue. The accommodation is clean and spacious with balconies. A real mix of visitors from all over Europe, particularly.
If you are after lots of entertainment and club style events, this is not the place for you, although it is easy to get to those kind of places either on the bus or by taxi, around 10 to 15 minutes.
The atmosphere is a Dilick. Football, table tennis, etc.

It is a relatively small and very friendly hotel. Great situation for getting out and about the island either by car or bus stop right outside. Supermarket just down the road and the village of Afandou above the hotel is a gem. The all inclusive package offers plentiful food and drink, although perhaps not to everyones taste. Would have liked a bit more choice of fresh fruit.

Typically Greek accommodation, some very dodgy electrical work and 3 different colours of tiles in the bathroom. The cleaning was a bit poor but the sheets and towels were changed regularly. I've stayed in a lot of Greek basic hotels and this was one of the bigger rooms we had with 2 balconies.

Lovely week long break
Posted 5 Jul 2019 on HotelsAbsolutely lovely grounds and pool. The food was great and we never tired of it. The wine was not so great but that didn't spoil our stay at all. The animal sanctuary beside the hotel was a wonderful addition and something that made us smile everyday. The staff were helpful, especially when one of our party suffered from a sprained ankle during our stay. The location is a little out of the way, but Afandou beach was easy to get to and the bus stop is right outside to take you to the north or south of the island. I would recommend the hotel.

Nice hotel with great pool and garden areas
Posted 14 May 2017Very helpful and accommodating staff. Well kept Beautiful garden and pool area. Quiet for a good night's sleep with a children's play area and even their own chickens, ducks and deer! Rooms comfortable bathrooms a bit dated but everything works. It was perfect for our trip visiting a relative living nearby.

Good for a budget vacation

Pros: Staff, cleanliness, pool. I would recommend it only if you're on a budget.
Cons: If the vegetables could be cooked less and the food less greasy, generally. Also, working a/c.
Location: The location isn't great. It's about 1km to the nearest beach and there are just a few stores within a few minutes walk.
The good things about this hotel are very good - friendly, helpful staff, the pool is big and clean and the pool area never felt crowded.
The bad things? That's where the budget comes in. The rooms were clean but outdated. My toilet flushed about 75% of the time. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and the a/c worked intermittently. If it's important to you (and it was to me) the wi-fi is not high speed and doesn't work consistently.
And let's not forget the roosters. Try and get a room away from the roosters or bring earplugs
Also the food is not wonderful. The dishes at dinner were all labelled, but the dishes at lunch were not, resulting in some questionable vegetables and mystery meat.
This place attracts families - so if you don't have kids, be prepared.

3 TV-Sender
Personal extrem hilfsbereit und freundlich
Supermarkt in 500m
