There were multiple issues during our stay that we had to checkout much earlier then anticipated. The moment we arrived there was a sewage type smell throughout the whole apartment that was very unpleasant to be around. It smelled so bad by the bunk beds that we had to have extra people in the bed to alleviate some of the smell. We were aware water can come in from outside naturally since we are by the water however there was flooding coming from the bathroom and behind the kitchen appliances that made the entire floor wet throughout. There were bugs all around which made our stay even more uneasy. The air conditioner barely worked and since there are no windows it was very unpleasant to be in there. There was absolutely no hot water during our showers. After an hour of being there we immediately looked up a last minute hotel and left the next morning. We contacted the host saying we are going to checkout and nobody answered and it’s been days. This made us even more uneasy that we couldn’t even contact anyone if there was an emergency nobody would be there to assist. I would recommend being more transparent in the listing/ fixing the apartment to avoid these issues for upcoming stays. This was unacceptable and not feasible to live in especially on a vacation.

The house is located in a magical spot amazing sunset views. For this price we would have expected better amenities or service (eg breakfast served in the restaurant nearby)
