Hospitable and friendly hotel on beautiful Amorgos
Posted 25 Jul 2024 on HotelsAmazing stay in Amorgos. From the moment we arrived, the hotel exemplified the Greek tradition of xenia, of hospitality. We were warmly greeted and had a wonderful time. The breakfasts are homemade including homemade yogurt, grapes from the hotel’s vineyard, etc. Hotel Minoa is perfectly located in Katapola, with the trails to ancient Minoa direclty behind the hotel and the water in front. We walked 30 minutes to the perfect Maltezi beach on arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel for our first (but not last!) stay on this beautiful island.

The owner couple are very friendly and helpful. Always available to help whenever guests needed. Especially willing to make phone calls to address our needs and requests to local authorities and agents

The staff were very accommodating and our room was much larger than expected. Who doesn't love gelato on-site! Our only issue was with the hot water. Have your shower in the evening, then you won't have a problem.
