Change of room made all the difference

Upon arrival we were given a room that felt dated, it was clean but basic, the external door didn't feel too secure, the shower squirted everywhere but on your head, tiles were a little bit mismatched after what I suspect was a repair, it just wasn't nice despite not being terribly bad. On the plus side the sea view was lovely. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, we were given a new modern room at the back of the complex which was lovely and spotlessly clean. Communal areas were also spotlessly clean, there was the odd tiny weed at the side of the rear pool, but there were also plenty of sunloungers and not a bit of rubbish. There was one leaf in the bottom of the pool but a pool with crystal clear water and no colder than any other holiday pool. The wifi did struggle to connect from time to time but was mostly OK and much better at the front of the building. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable, of course it wasn't 5* quality (its a 2*hotel) but freshly cooked, hot, well served and in a pleasant and tidy environment. Staff don't stop for breath, always cleaning and tidying, always smiling, nothings too much trouble. We went from a feeling of not wanting to stay to having a great time, we would definitely return. Many thanks to the lovely team (especially Anna and Jenny) who helped with the change

The hotel is central to all bars And shops. Right across the road from the beach. Hotel seemed a little run down needs a little TLC. Didn’t go in the Poole. The room was basic and clean but due to covid 19 you had to fill a form in when you wanted the room cleaned and a Change of bedding and towels, the staff on reception were lovely, always had a smile and were very helpful. We had bed and breakfast. Breakfast was very poor. Coffee or tea watered down orange juices, toast, and the normal English breakfast, sausage was the worst I have ever had, the bacon was very fatty, the lady who served the breakfast appears very sharp and hadn’t got much time time for people. I would go back Corfu but would not go back the hotel mimosa.

Best Location

We arrived at 13:00 and appreciated that our room was ready to check into and we didn't have to wait. We booked through Hotels.com and our room was towards the back of the hotel which was fine. It was a small size but had a double bed and a good balcony. The view from the balcony was facing the other block. There was no window in the bathroom which made the room quite dark. We only booked for 3 nights as we were going to move to a smaller place but decided to stay after enquiring about a different room. We had a room facing the road and the beach. It was perfect and we were so grateful. This room had a window in the bathroom and was a good size. We enjoyed our time here. All the staff who are Greek and British were amazing. So friendly and helpful. There wasn't 1 staff member who was unfriendly. This is it's biggest asset. Breakfast was good. A selection of cold and full English available. They took the health of it's customers very seriously and had devised a one way system at Breakfast which worked well. It wasn't rocket science as you entered one way and left the other but it was a shame that some people didn't get it and went whatever way they wanted. All the staff wear masks which is reassuring but alot of people think as they're away that COVID doesn't exist anymore and social distancing etc went out the window. We could see customers board their coach as they were leaving (Jet2) and so many had to be asked to put a mask on. Best location in resort as it's central.

Ho avuto un piacevole soggiorno in questo hotel. È pulito, semplice e offre tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Il personale è stato estremamente cordiale e disponibile, rendendo l'esperienza ancora più piacevole. Lo consiglio volentieri per chi cerca un alloggio accogliente e senza fronzoli.

Fint hotell mycket nära till stranden. Dock är det tråkigt att de tar extra betalt för luftkonditionering, kylskåp och förvaringsbox.

Pokój z pistacjowymi ścianami i śladami po zabitych komarach, których jest mnóstwo!!! Klimatyzacja dodatkowo płatna (lodówka też), choć w ofercie jest wpisana jako podstawowe udogodnienie... a balkonu nie można wieczorem otworzyć żeby przewietrzyć pokój bo komary chcą w nocy zjeść!!! Czystość pokojów słaba - od czasu do czasu zmieniają ręczniki i to chyba wszystko... widok z balkonu na dach restauracji i wielki wyciąg wszelkich zapachów z niej - po otwarciu balkonu rano czuło się mieszankę olejów, na których były smażone dania... jedyny plus to duży wybór dań na śniadanie i obiadokolację oraz bliskość plaży i tętniącej życiem ulicy
