Good pool area, good beach (plenty beach chairs for everyone),gym is small but super nice (modern design and new machines - also an area to workout outside), meals in all-inclusive were nice (good variety), best part was the mini buffet by the pool (available 12-6pm) for people like me who just want to eat something for lunch without having to get changed in order to enter the main buffet/restaurant and keep my bikini on whilst eating by the pool. Customer service was ok, not the nicest staff but I think it was also a language barrier/cultural thing. Area around isn’t amazing as there’s nothing to do (we went out for dinner one night to celebrate my friend’s bday and there were barely any restaurants. You can catch a bus right outside the hotel (limited timetable, like every hour or something) and go to the old town which was amazing and plenty things to do there. Animation is good but could do with a bit more variety as it’s the same everyday. Massages at the spa are very overpriced! Overall good hotel!

It’s a beautiful property. Well maintained. Our room was newly remodeled in a sleek and basic design. Walk in shower with rainforest shower head. Beds were comfortable. Staff made one feel very welcome. Food was good with some decent variety.

Lovely hotel complex short walk to the beach

Posted 21 Jul 2016
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Had a lovely week here. All inclusive is to a very good standard with no real restrictions. Staff were all lovely and couldn't do enough to help you. The whole resort is so clean with staff paying such attention to detail, especially the pools which were beautiful. The gardens are also lovely all very natural. The animation team work really hard and are a real fun group putting on some really good entertainment.

Better for young families looking to stay put.

Pros: The food options were good, beautiful beach and swimming pools. There is water everywhere and light snacks. The entertainment are very friendly.
Cons: All bedrooms are smoking and the smell is very strong. Men must wear trousers to the generic restaurant every night. Entertainment list would be good.
Location: Marmari is a 20 minute walk along the beach which has 3 restaurants. We recommend getting a rental car and going out to explore.
We enjoyed out visit to the hotel, but we are a young couple who were here for kitesurfing. Unfortunately there was no wind for the entire week, and there is nothing else really to do, and the evening entertainment is not aimed at our age group. On our last day we were approached by the entertainment team in the afternoon to do pilates which was a good way to get out some energy. We did paddle boarding a few times, we got a car and visited beaches around the island and Kos town in a day, but that was really it. Marmari is a 20 minute walk along the beach which has 3 restaurants. We would highly recommended a day visit to Paradise Beach at the very bottom of the island (there are two, the other is close to the airport and is completely different). Paradise Beach only had 10-20 other people both times we visited and is beautiful, with a fantastic seafood restaurant on a hill.

Perfect holiday

Cons: There is a hairdresser at the hotel which I made the mistake of using - it's not the hotel's fault, nevertheless it was horrible.
We just came back from a 10-day stay at Caravia. Throughout the whole time the hotel was surprising us with how great it was - the food was simply fantastic, there was a lot of activities to choose from, like volleyball, table tennis, tennis or mini golf, and everything was truly included in the All Inclusive offer, even the facilities on the beach (which a lot of hotels charge extra for). The staff is really attentive and helpful. I really can't recommend this hotel enough.

Great except for the food!

Posted 26 May 2014
Pros: The best thing about the hotel is the staff, especially the receptionists and bar manager. Location is quiet but offers either a good pool or beach.
Cons: Food!. Entertainment area away from hotel and there no toilets or a bar nearby. No pool towels available. Music for teens - guests mostly over 50!
Location: Tigaki is only a 5 min taxi ride and has good restaurants. Only 4 busses a day to Kos Town. Taxis about 20 Euros. Small supermarkets 10 min walk.
This pleasant hotel is in a very quiet location on a great beach. It's spotlessly clean with an expansive pool area and beautifully kept gardens. The staff are very attentive, cheerful and helpful and are supported by an energetic and engaging animation team who work tirelessly day and night to keep guests entertained. Public areas are spacious with an inviting bar and a welcoming dining room with excellent outdoor areas. The snack bar, pool and beach bars were all well run. Drinks quality is what you might expect from an AI package - not very strong but the quantities make up for it! BUT - This as a four star hotel with two star dining! The food itself was OK but several issues spoiled the enjoyment of it. Firstly, there was very little variety. Chips and spaghetti bolognese were in the first trays EVERY night. After that there might be one or two meat dishes but if you're not keen on rabbit or pigs liver for example there was very little else to eat. Nothing was EVER hot - just warm. Even when the restaurant opened you found trays full of tepid dishes. The small trays did not stay full for long which led to another problem. Guests would fill their cold plates with lukewarm chips and canned veg but by the time they reached the dish of the day, the tray would be empty and there would be a ten minute wait for a fresh tray (just warm!) to go with the now cold veg! Pressure on the chef to fill the trays resulted in undercooked pork. Just bad management of OK food.

Great Hotel, Friendly staff

Definately a place for kids. You can book with or without meals. Hotel is off the beaten path, 3 km taxi ride to town. Food average but staff and amenities are excellent. 90% guests are German or Italian. We were only Americans /British guests in hotel.
