When we arrived they couldn't find our reservation booking, so we had to wait very long time, the receptionist didn't explain anything about the facilities of the Hotel, no instructions at all plus very unfriendly. The hotel is ok for a max 4 Stars but definitely not a Luxury 5 Stars Hotel, the 1st few days the cleaning wasnt good at all, after complaining it improved a lot! Food was not superb except for the Golden Sun Restaurant which you must reserve and can go only once a week. The service in general was one of the worst we had all these years of travelling experiences apart for 5 waiters who were very nice & friendly but the receptionists were not nice to us at all. The beach area was not properly cleaned everyday. Also the entertainment at night we could hear very loudly in our room and every single days they were playing the same songs till they had their “different” kind of show. Not ideal for a couple holiday! Also not everything is part of All inclusive, some of the drinks for example Aperol Spritz and others you had to pay at least 11 Euros per drink… This hotel is not reccomended for physically challenged people as there are many stairs & hills to climb, you have to walk a lot to go to the beach/ pools and restaurants. Most of the TV channels weren't working at all as the Satellite signals were very poor and also we had Power Outage in our room at least Twice a day!

Thank you for sharing your comments and for choosing our hotel for your holidays.Upon arrival, we were facing a problem with our system, which was solved within 10minutes. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused. We always provide awelcome letter to all of our guests upon arrival with all useful information and guests aremore than welcome to discuss with our staff any queries they may have.We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with food and drinks. We offer ninerestaurants to accommodate all tastes and needs with a wide range of dishes to choosefrom. Regarding the all-inclusive drinks, we offer a good selection of local and foreign drinks, which are careful selected and well known around Greece. If you choose branded drinks, these are with extra charges and they are in line with the Greek prices. All hotel’sinformation are on our website. The hotel is built on a hill as it is written in hotels description, but upon request we can offerrooms on ground floor, or close to main facilities and during the stay there is always theoption to use the club cars to move around. It is a shame that we were not given the opportunity to rectify some of these issues. We onlywish that you had brought this to our attention.Once again, we thank you for your comments and we hope that you will give us the chanceto welcome you back to one of our hotels.

The resort is a little remote if you want to get out and about, but there's really no need to as the facilities are excellent. The hotel is VERY family friendly and although I congratulated myself on avoiding half-term, it was a bit like being at a RugRats convention! Couples looking for a romantic break might want to look elsewhere, but families will be right at home. The staff are wonderful - attentive and friendly at all times. The food is excellent, in particular the Aegean buffet which serves an enormous variety of well prepared and beautifully presented food. There are many dining options throughout the day. The rooms are spacious and well furnished although the amount of patio/balcony space varies between rooms of the same type/price. I had a jacuzzi room and the tub was top quality and regularly maintained. It is possible to walk the length of the beach to Kefalos if you're feeling energetic. The activitiy pool area is kiddie heaven, surrounded by inflatables and pushchairs and humming to constant background disco music, but there are two much quieter pool areas to escape to and the adults take over in the afternoon with water volleyball & polo. A variety of watersports are offered off the beach. The evening entertainment of various themed singing and dancing shows brought out my sons' inner Simon Cowell, but oddly enough, they wouldn't miss a show! My only grumble is the long trouser rule for men in the buffet at night.

Thank you for your comments. The hotel's Village style layout offers many areas for families or couples, with entertainment or relaxed, chill-out feeling places. Same with our dining experiences, the 7 different restaurants create a huge variety and apply to all palettes. We hope to welcome you back again in our Hotel next Summer!

3rd time's a charm

Posted 1 Sep 2015 on Hotels
This was my family's 3rd stay in this hotel, we've been staying there 3 years in a row, picking it as the perfect location for our summer vacation. We love it that the hotel has everything we need in it, no reason what so ever to go outside or visit the town center. We absolutely love it. The hotel staff are the best people, so kind and friendly.

The hotel was beautiful suite was excellent definitely worth the extra pay. The golf carts that drive you around were lots of fun. Very kid friendly. The only down side was the food which was just OK. Not really tasty especially the meat and fish. The fresh vegetables and fruit and the breakfast were great but diner well not good enough. Needs improvement.

Cons: No need for long pants at the Buffet for dinner! The only all-inclusive I've been to that requires this. Makes no sense!!
Wonderful hotel. Excellent service. Very friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to others looking for a beach holiday. The weather was HOT!

Pros and Cons. Pools, sea, food, drinks and more

Posted 21 Jun 2015 on Hotels
Very good hotel. All inclusive format makes you to forget about any needs and relax. Good and clean rooms, multiple pools, cocktails, sea, spa - what else do you need?! Now - negative side. Not too intimate - most of rooms are somehow close to public pools and/or to some passages, so forget about not seeing anyone. This is not Maldives. And for parents... If your children are not English or German speaking and you would like to put them in kids club - prepare for the some degree of discrimination. The kids club is running under the envelope of Thomson kids and when we tried to put our child in the kids club they kicked us out and mentioned that the club is only for UK children. They got another one for the "rest", which is running only two hours in the morning and two hours after noon with much less entertaining activities. Pity and not appropriate.
