A beautifully furnished room with private terrace with sunloungers and shaded sofa, private hammam, and jacuzzi type bath.
Lovely management and staff who were very respectful of guests privacy and relaxation.
Very clean throughout the hotel.
Ideal area to explore the old town with ease. Many good restaraunts and bars close by.
A charming little hotel. I loved it.

Wonderful visit! We got in much later than expected but the hostess stayed up until midnight to greet us and welcome us in. Wonderful location right in the middle of the lively city!

We loved this hotel! Each room seemed to be so unique and the combined modern and old architecture was so beautifully done. The breakfast was delicious and eaten in a pretty outdoor courtyard area. The hotel was well situated in the old town, and a 10 minute walk from the bus station. Best of all was the wonderful staff; Catherine was so helpful and friendly, as was the other staff member we met (whose name I do not know how to spell!). If we were ever in Rethymno again, we will certainly stay here. We highly recommend Bellagio Boutique Hotel!

Unfriendly owners, who are very inflexible and would not respond to our emails

We understand perfectly your reaction as to not answering your email promptly. The reason why we delayed giving you an answer had to do with the fact that we were trying to find a solution from our end , to your demand. As per your reservation, you had booked with us one night/non refundable price policy. We delayed respondingto you hoping that a request may be booked for the same day and period as your booking and thus not charge you the non refundable amount. Unfortunately, this did not happen. So, according to the standardized cancellation policy followed by all accommodations, the non refundable cancellation amount should had been received on the day of your booking, that is on 11/03/2019 as stated crearly on the reservation / booking details.
If you are under the impression that receiving the cancellation amount renders us as unfriendly, it would be our pleasure to host you another day giving us this way the opportunity to make our acquaintance and have a first hand inmpression of your hospitality and friendship hoping that it would positively change your mind on our services.
We sincerely hope that the issue that forced you to alter your vacation plans no longer exists and the outcome was a positive one .

It was a nice small hotel in the center of Rethymno. No elevator, but the staff helps you carry your suitcases up the stairs. The staff were really solicitous and seemed really happy to have us as guests and gave us all kinds of advice. The room was very comfortable, except for sheets that are too small for a double bed, and the fact that it advertises a king-sized bed, when it is really a slightly larger than double, not even queen size. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable, a suitcase rack or two would help. The breakfast was very complete and had a large selection.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of old Rethymno
Posted 26 Jun 2018Thank you Cathrine for creating a lovely and relaxing hotel to stay in for our time in Rethymno. The great location of the hotel in the middle of the old town made it easy to explore Rethymno. We loved our beautiful room and my partner delighted in our private steam room. Your advice about Rethymno was so helpful to find nice places to explore and restaurants for dining.
Thank you also for making our wedding day so special by decorating our room and creating a warm place to get ready and relax. Can’t wait to return for an anniversary in the future. ευχαριστώ!
