Great location and nice pool/outside area with bar and garden. The interior is a bit jaded and could do with modernisation to bring it up to true 3 star standard.

Great location, not much else.
Posted 31 May 2018 on HotelsUnfriendly not helpful or accommodating. The location is great but not much else. The hotel is under a complete renovation so the restaurant is not open. The owner was rude, and confrontational. In room safe not operational and no locks on the inside of the door. Balcony is so small it might as well not be there. Luckily the town is a 5 minute walk which is beautiful with many restaurants, stores and a market. The restaurant next door was great and the owner was sweet!

Worse hotel ever
Posted 27 Jul 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Except for the reception area, it needs a complete overhaul. It looks like owner wants to take in the moneh but nothing into improving the property.
Location: Just don't do it......
Bathroom stunk like sewerage.
Pillows were very uncomfortable.
The wifi did not work and the host made a comment, whilst laughing..... people are complaining about the WiFi..... what do they want, a bed to sleep on or WiFi.
The pool was green at the bottom, could not bring myself to go in,
The grass was overgrown which made everything look unkempt.
Breakfast was awful, bordering on disgusting, and the same everyday
Barman was never to be found, we had to go looking for him/her.
We messaged the hotel for pickup from ferry. No one there so we had to push our luggage all the way.

I'd Stay Elsewhere
Posted 16 Jun 2014 on HotelsAeolos Bay is close enough to town to walk easily to "Restaurant Row." A couple of things not mentioned in reviews we read: beds are very hard, A/C is overpowering, the beach across the street is rocky with no chairs or beach umbrellas. On the up-side, there is free shuttle ("transfer") service to and from the ferry piers. And of course, the price is right. We ordered coffee from room service: late, cold, and awful. Cost of the cup was 4.3% of the entire room cost!

Great stay at a friendly hotel

Pros: Best for town and beach
Cons: Compact bathroom
Location: Very useful location
We were given a warm welcome at the hotel despite arriving at the during the busy Greek Easter period. The sea view room on the top floor had a decent view of the local beach and beyond. The Easter festivities at the hotel included the traditional sheep roast. The hotel provided candles for the towns candle lit Easter parade free of charge and also a free bottle of wine - a very nice touch. Breakfast was the typical normal fare - cereal, fruit, bread cheese, ham etc and was plentiful. The hotel was ideally situated for us about 5 to 10 minutes walk outside of the hustle and bustle of the town and convenient for the ferries . The beach opposite was rocky but sandier parts were in easy reach within 10 minutes and a lovely sandy cove about 20 minutes away.
We will return.
