I wasn’t aware when I booked it that it was at the top of the hill… hard to determine on a two-dimensional map! But what a treat to discover it! Easy 5 min walk to the Roman amphitheater, and another 5 min to the Basilica and the funicular to take you down to the old, lively city center. It was very hot while we were there and the A/C (like many European hotels) was not very powerful. But overall a wonderful experience. "
