"A unique place to stay that really ticked the boxes - I stayed as part of a group and each of us enjoyed the experience, the birds, meerkats, tortoises & reptiles adding to an amazing stay! The bird show (included in price) was good and the staff extremely knowledgeable - the self contained rooms were very clean & comfortable and having a kitchenette with fridge/toaster etc was perfect, the en-suite shower room was large & again very clean - highly recommend a stay here!"

"Lily pad could be wonderful. Its setting is beautiful. I was really looking forward to staying. However the lodge is damp and the heating is wholly inadequate, the macerator in the shower room had leaked under the laminate floor and was still leaking on my arrival.The property was a health hazard. "I didn't receive any instructions for self check in until I called the letting agent. The property is dark and dingy. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room). "Lovely little house, with everything you need for a home from home. Downsides- there is child lock on the Wi-fi, not good for a tradesman working away. Cold house- woke up every morning shivering. Wasn’t sure how to set heating timer. And next door there are elderly neighbours who must be deaf- they are night owls and I’m sure their tv is directly opposite the wall of bed stand.
