If we were being picky, the road leading to the property was at times quite bumpy, so caution with speed is required, but what the property itself has to offer made up for it. The bedrooms were upstairs, a twin room which looked out over the countryside and also had velux windows for star gazing and the double room with velux windows. "Esk View Cottage is a fabulous base for exploring the Yorkshire Moors. Its location overlooking the river is stunning and the sound of the water very peaceful and relaxing. It is a 90 second walk from the NYMR station of Grosmont which we made great use of and the steam trains gave a really charming feel. Will definitely return. "
