It is a beautiful old building that is very tired inside. The staff are mediocre at best, unable to answer the simplest questions about the town or area. Disappointed.

We had a lovely stay at the Grant Arms Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the bar area was well maintained and the restaurant served some lovely dinners and breakfasts.
Would highly recommend a stay at this pleasant and picturesque hotel!

Lovely stay. Evening meal was superb but unfortunately found breakfast very average with sausages and bacon dried up with being kept in warmers.

Breakfast buffet at 18 L was overpriced and equivalent to a fancy continental breakfast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Rooms were comfortable and the dining experience was great. Many other dining options and shopping all within a stone’s throw.

We picked our location first and narrowed the choice of hotel to the Grant Arms and one other. We chose the GAH because it was an old, established hotel with a great reputation and ticked all our boxes. The staff were brilliant, great views & food and a well stocked bar.

Lovely hotel in the style of a country lodge--absolutely charming, wonderful staff, bring back the espresso machine!
