Posted 17 Oct 2022 on HotelsPlace is amazing. But the room was broken (safe not working, drain, telephone). Despite repeated efforts to get things resolved in a relatively vacant hotel, the staff never did anything nor tried to communicate to inform.

Great place to stay for a few days, close to the beach and nice staff. Too bad however that they did not replace simple things at breakfast such as black tea for consecutive days.

The Place has no soul!

Pros: The beach is close by and has nice whitish sand.
Cons: Everything from parking to descent restaurants. The place is not designed for English speakers. Everything is in Portuguese.
Location: The closest decent restaurant is half an hour drive from the resort.
We planned to stay for a week and left after 2 days! On the first day of arriving I received a parking ticket as I went to check in. On the second day I got a parking fine because it was not clear that the bay I was using was a doctor's parking place. This was the worst deal I've had in Portugal. What you get is a 3 star hotel at most with cheap furniture, no facilities in the hotel. You have to track to the other side of resort, it's sister hotel for pool and sauna that close at 9pm, that is if you manage to get a towel before 7pm and a locker key that is never available. The staff is not rude just unhelpful. I was relieved to escape this resort. The manager did help to cancel one of the parking fines. However, it did not help I lost so much time and effort dealing with tickets. I was woken up every morning by the deliveries just below the balcony, which also had no view whatsoever. I am not surprised that there were no other nationalities I can see other than Portuguese and French. Avoid at all costs, even if it is the last available place in Portugal!
