The room I booked was full. They offered a room with disgusting dirty stained carpet. The next hadn’t been cleaned so I helped clean it. The manager said she could fix the broken shower knob she couldn’t so I had to shower in a different room. Most amenities weren’t working. The TV in my room didn’t really work. The manager said she would bring a different cable box she didn’t. The fitted sheet on BOTH beds had big orange and black stains I wondered if they were even washed. I left my room to shower and realized my key didn’t work so I couldn’t get in. I informed a staff member that I needed help gettin back in. I finished showering and all the staff was gone. I repeatedly called the front desk no one answered. I had to walk across the parking lot to the front desk in pajamas, wet towel on my head in my slippers in temps below zero for a key. I told the owner I was extremely unsatisfied and wanted a full refund. He said yes. I got the refund receipt and the amount wasn’t even close to what I paid. I booked through Expedia and the room rate they listed was different than the hotels receipt. After hours and hours of back and forth calling neither business will take accountability. They both blame the other. After the continuous issues at the hotel I wonder if they intentionally lowered my bill before issuing the refund so it appeared I paid less or if Expedia’s customer service is really that bad. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel!! Don’t recommend!
