I was very disappointed with the small drab room. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were the size of throw pillows, not pillows for sleeping. We couldn’t use the heater at night or when we were watching tv because it was EXTREMELY noisy. I called concierge and requested a blanket and they didn’t bring it for an hour after I had gone to bed. For the price El Tovar charges I was so disappointed!

The location was just fabulous. The hotel condition needs some upgrades. Had a really bad musty smell. In hotel life by and room. The food was very good staff very nice and friendly.

Property is old. Cost is for location and not much of anything else. Food was meh, room was small and average. Food options very limited … The Canyon was outstanding !

Probably the best option to explore South Rim - you just can’t get any closer! The staff need to be a little more involved, but otherwise great stay.
