"It was quite and clean. The property was well taken care of and most of the areas were safe (with the exception of the bridge near the hot tub that got super wet and slick and I fell..oww.) they let us use their kayaks and there was a lifeguard on duty throughout the day. The drinks were well made and the other people I met there were super kind. It's *kind of* remote and not a lot nearby so we needed to use a taxi to go pretty much anywhere (which is fine because our driver Val was amazing) I...

"I really wish it was a better experience. The rooms were not up to par. We had to switch rooms 2 times because of issues. First room the shower didn’t work. Second room the ac was broken. Third room didn’t even lock properly or have a working bathtub but we decided twice was enough and we would just take our chances. The front desk totally screwed up my reservation and charged me twice. I still have not been refunded but hopefully will in the near future. Otherwise Harold’s wonderful smile kept...

"The stay at Mrs. Doris' Ocean Pearl was wonderful. The cable was out in the room and the water went out the first day, but those were both beyond the hotel's control. Mrs. Doris was absolutely wonderful and was extremely accommodating. This is the perfect destination for those looking to get away from the world and slow down. Go visit Bishop next door and be sure to order the Crack Conch Dinner in the Ocean Peal kitchen."
