Basic hotel, clean, centrally located, lots of construction going on, bars, restaurants, beach all minutes away as in 2-3 minutes

Great location but take your own pillow

Pros: The Lady who owns it is lovely.
Cons: New beds and pillows
Location: The location is awesome. Straight outside the hotel are 5+ cafes, all do food. They're open till about 1am at the weekends.
The lady who runs (possibly owns?) this hotel is lovely, nothing is too much trouble. Arrival is then made simple as she is normally there.
There is a lift if you're above the second floor and would like to avoid to much exercise.
The rooms are very dated but, also kept immaculately clean by the staff. No problems with hot water supply etc.
However, the beds are terrible, they look like they have come from a prison. The creakiest things I've ever heard. The pillows are lumpy and feel like they've been filled with giant stale marshmallows!!!
However, for position, convenience and value. I do recommend the Olympia
