Beautiful hotels with amazing views
Posted 12 Apr 2024 on HotelsLovely hotel with amazing views and friendly staff. This was a return visit and seen improvements from previous times, and will come back. Some offerings could be improved - body lotion and conditioner in the rooms, as well better hairdryers. I would also suggest some bed toppers for the extensible couch and some scheme to incentives guest to reuse towels for more than one day in a bid to become more ecofriendly, as well as more selective rubbish collection.

Posted 5 Feb 2024 on HotelsUnfortunately my husband ended up in hospital, we came out with 6 friends and four of us had food poisoning, my husband is 74 and has heart problems, we have had to extend our stay and alter our flights by 2 days, he ended up with a severe urine infection due to being dehydrated,
We have stayed here before but we won’t be returning.

The hotel itself was nice, we liked the pool area and cleaning/restaurant staff were excellent.
However the reception staff let the hotel down.
At check in we were told if we didn’t like our room we could change in the morning, we found this strange as if the man at reception knew we were being placed in the wrong room. For context we booked a double sea room 8 months in advance.
We were put in to a dirty small dark room looking into reception. We requested to be swapped the following morning and were told there are no rooms left and we could return the next day.
I sent an email to management and I was told there was a room available on the system. So we were lied to at reception. The room was nicer as it’s what we booked. We were woken up at 8am every morning from screaming and shouting and people running up and down the hall. The dining room was chaos every morning.
Towards the end of our holiday we went to reception to enquire about a late check out and we were told this wouldn’t be a problem and the lady took our details and told us to return the morning of checkout.We returned and we were told they needed the room back and couldn’t give us another room but they had a booking system for a 15 min courtesy room we could use to get changed in if we requested a specific time at checkout.When we checked out we asked to book a slot for the room and surprise no room was available.Raquel was very rude and brushed us off when we told her her colleague told us this. All lies….

What an amazing hotel!! Staff were extremely friendly and hospitable, every room has the most beautiful sea view. The food was plentiful, of an excellent quality and a good variety of options. A short walk to the nearest town where there were lots of shops/restaurants. Only 25 mins from the airport too.
Faultless!!

It is overall a very lovely hotel and a good place to stay. Unfortunately the hotel staff and housekeeping don’t pay attention to do not disturb signs and entered my room several times when I didn’t want to be bothered. This wasn’t taken seriously by reception staff either. There seems to be an issue with the water supply in the mornings, maybe down to demand but it kept running at low pressure, cold and even stopping completely during a shower. The breakfast buffet was rather boring, but that seems standard for many hotels. Great location and easy access to both Peurto Rico and Amadores as well as the commercial centre if you’ve got the fitness to walk up the hill.

The bedrooms are very spacious and the sea views excellent, though the bathroom arrangements may not be to everyone’s taste as has been commented upon by other guests. It’s all very open plan! The restaurant buffet is very extensive and well presented. For the price we paid it was excellent value for money.
