The hotel has serious issues with room cleanliness. Also the rooms are old, we had 5 rooms and 4 of them were smelly and poorly cleaned when we got them. Two of them had no hot water, the bed sheets, pillow cases and the towels had stain on them. The only good thing I can say about the hotel is the view from the room and the friendliness of the staff at the front desk. The pool was also dirty and the hotel facade is aged and have water stains.

Rooms are clean but a bit outdated. Gym is outside of main building and key has to be checked out at front desk. Incredible views, great restaurant.

Pool area was very unkept pool water looked dirty. Property has lots of potential with the right maintenance and up keep it would really be a great hotel. Rooms need paint and better cleaning. Bathroom grout was moldy. Again Great space and potential with better up keep. That being said, staff was great breakfast included was a plus and parking included too.

NICE HOTEL BAD WI-FI!
Posted 11 Jan 2022 on HotelsRise again ever after high do wi-fi did not work well if it worked at all and their sauna was not working either. I think quality Inn regulates the Wi-Fi for all their hotels and I have a problem with it no matter which quality and I sign into it with the exception of one in Colombia. This was a major thing for me. The other thing is that it is not really close to anything and to get into shopping areas you have to take an Uber or drive but parking is free if you have a car. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The problem I had was with the amenities of the hotel itself.

For those who don't like to venture
Posted 22 Jul 2019 on HotelsThe staff members with whom I interacted were all delightful. They were very polite and friendly. Rooms were quite spacious. They could use a little touch-up, as could the hallways. Pool area was nice with good views. Breakfast was decent but the coffee was always a little cold for me.
This hotel would be good for those wishing for more of a resort-like experience. Great for relaxing and being pampered. I would suggest it a good hotel for business travelers as well. The spacious rooms and hotel facilities are amenable to getting work done.
I would not recommend it if you are like me: someone who likes to to be somewhat close to "where the action is". If you have a car then you'll be fine. Otherwise you'll need to take a taxi every time you want to explore Niteroi.
My biggest gripe was with the W-Fi. It sucked. I felt like I had been transported back to 2001. All that was missing was a dial-up tone...... it was that bad. I spent 20 minutes on the phone troubleshooting with a technician. No improvement whatsoever.
As delightful as the staff were, I do not see myself staying at this hotel when I return to Niteroí. I am, however, glad to have spent a few days there.
