"Be aware: the listing shows only the units on the water. What you may actually be booking has no water around it. When we checked in we found that we were booked for a “Garden Unit,” meaning a boat parked on the grass several meters away from any water. Your view from such a unit will likely be weeds, not water. We stayed two nights but there were only two coffee pods and no explanation of how to use the machine . Some milk would have been nice as well . "This place was amazing! Each room is like its own apartment, very clean and comfortable! Would have loved to be able to stay more than one night here and explore the city more. "Stay was better after upgrade to larger caravan. Normal type camping/ caravan style village, staff was good and helpful, but some facilities not available like outdoor pool, location ok but transport needed for shops, bar and restaurant expensive with limited menu and a per person table charge of 2euro which I feel is a con charging to sit and have a drink or meal Overall it's ok for what it is so long as you don't expect much "

"The Savoia Excelsior is super conveniently located right at the city center and in the water-front. It's location is for sure it's most attractive quality. The staff is friendly but not as attentive as I would have expected. the rooms are comfortable but I feel they could get "refreshed" a bit. The bathrooms are wonderful but the showers tend to be a bit messy as the window is too short to keep the water out of the bathroom floor. I did not have breakfast or dinner in the hotel so I cannot speak...

"Safe and great location within the center, just about 8mins walk to Central Train and Bus Stations. 24-Hr reception with free Coffee/Tea at Dining Area. Clean and Comportable room size. Free BF with loads to choose however the fresh pastries caught my attention. High customer service from reception to kitchen staffs - Victoria, Pele, Ester and another lady from kitchen. High salute to Silvia and Marco both from reception, super helpful with queries and directions...extending efforts to fulfill your needs. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay back if given a chance. "

"We visited Trieste for 2 days and this was my first time in this city. The location of the hotel was fantastic, we walked everywhere! Also, it looks like the hotel was recently renovated, but everything was impeccable! The room was very spacious and beautiful! Highly recommended! "
