The only downside to the room we stayed in at the front it was very noisy in the night from people and vehicle

Our windows are soundproof, in case you are a light sleeper we recommend upgrading to a terrace if there is avaialbility since they do not face to passeig de gracia.Warm regards

Loved the location! Felt very safe. Great options for dining. The apartment was fantastic with large terrace. Reception are very nice. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Outside is not marked with sign so a bit hard to find originally.

So spacious, looks modern inside and close to shopping and other must visit places. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Perfect location in Barcelona for shopping and cultural activities! Apartment are huge and have everything you need! Staff at the reception os top ! Loved it!

Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations, particularly given the premium price we paid for 3 nights.
Upon arrival, we noticed a very unpleasant odor emanating from the toilet in my parents' bathroom. The stench was so strong that it disrupted their sleep and made the room almost uninhabitable. Despite spraying a significant amount of our own room spray-approximately one-third of the bottle-the smell persisted throughout our stay.
As a result of this issue, the four of us were forced to share the remaining toilet, which was far from ideal and caused considerable inconvenience.
Moreover, we also discovered that two light bulbs in the apartment were not working, which further contributed to the discomfort of our stay.
We reported these issues on the first day of our stay, but disappointingly, there was lack of responsive. especially considering the reputation of your establishment and the price we paid for our accommodation. We travelled 3weeks in Europe and never had this unpleasant experience and we are staying at hotel near be mate place in Barcelona, and guess what there is no smell coming from the toilet nor bathroom. Def nothing to do with Barcelona city. Not worth the money and definitely we didn't get a service what we have paid for.

We are very sad to read that we were not able to meet your expectations because Be Mate's main goal is making our guest always feel like home. As the hotel manager, I am a bit surprised about your comments because after hearing your report with the odor and the two bulbs in the apartment (sometimes bulbs stop working and need a replacement, this could happen at anytime even in your home bulbs), I went personally to replace them and left them working properly, so it is kind of confuse for us to understand why "there was a lack of responsive" as we have immediately response your messages when you need it assistance and act on them. Our Housekeeping team went to your apartment instantly to check the odor and everything was clean and well smelling. For sure we are going to do a double check with our maintenance team to make sure that all the pipes are in the best condition in this bathroom.I will be at your full disposal for anything you may need.Best regards,

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed. The staff helped us arrange a doctor visit for my daughter who was not feeling well.
Anything we needed they were more than happy to accommodate.
For our last night, we were given the name of the best tapas spot that is loved by locals.it didn’t disappoint.
Thanks for making our Barcelona trip so memorable.

Posted 28 Jul 2024 on HotelsWe really loved the location of the hotel however we felt our apartment which was a one bedroom apartment was very cramped. They have no closets there; so you basically live our of your suitcase. They offer you one time cleaning service but the housekeeper didn't really clean our floor or bathrooms. She just changed out sheets and towels. So I had to ask again. Communication was great with Melissa, She was very patient with all of our questions. Overall if we come back; would opt for a 2 bedroom rather then a one bedroom
