Clean and comfortable
Posted 21 Feb 2020 on HotelsLovely property, well maintained and very clean. Friendly staff. Only negative for us was with the one evening meal we had at the property. My husband ordered the fillet steak (which was very expensive), when it arrived - it was not a fillet steak, very thin piece of steak - overcooked and dry. This cut of meat also had a fat cap around it - brought it to the attention of the owner/manager, not sure which. Blamed his butcher, but did not offer to reduce cost - poor response we thought to a legitimate issue. Food in general was overpriced - I would stay again but would not use the restaurant facilities
