This Hotel was great, friendly staff, great location. I would definatly recommend this Hotel.

Cons: bad smell from bathroom.

An evening in Gorlitz

Pros: The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was the best breakfast that we had in all of Gertmany - and only 10 euros!!!
Cons: nothing
Location: The location was great withing walking of the main shops. There was a really fantastic fish restaurant next door, we wood highly recommend it.
We had a really nice visit to Gorlitz and walked across the Polish border.

Posted 21 Jul 2015 on HotelsThe hotel is a nice old hotel and it is very conviently located within walking distance of the restaurants and museums. If you come by car there is a parking garage nearby that will cost 6 Euros per 24 hours.
I had to give a low mark for room comfort because the room was very small with very little space for clothing and personal items. There is no air conditioning and it was extremely hot and stuffy at night which made it difficlt to sleep.
I had stayed in this hotel many times before and there are bigger rooms available so if it is in a season where there is hot weather one might consider a larger room on a lower floor.
I would still recommend this hotel if you want to have everything in close proximity.

Pros: Location near the center of town
Location: Near the center of town, across the street from the department store (currently being remodeled) that was the set for the film "Grand Budapest Hotel."
I booked 2 rooms, one for me and one for my daughter. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. They were of course smaller than an American hotel room but entirely adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Nice classic decor. Location perfect. An easy walk from the main station.
Cons: Pillows were a bit too soft! High quality bed linen otherwise.
Location: The main tourist sights and great eating places are all within easy walking distance.
Had a lovely overnight stay here recently. Reception staff very friendly and willing to help.
Lovely twin room and bathroom. Highly recommended.
