"They came and got us as they didn’t know we had a car and there is little parking. Checkedto see if everything was good. Excellent breakfast. "

"Enjoyed our stay. Nice pool and private lounger area on the side. Breakfast was huge and had a lot of options. The private beach nearby was nice and we were only about a 10 min walk from Coral Beach Club which was great. The hotel had a beautiful sunset and live music outside on the terrace. Rooms were a good size and although it had carpet it wasn't that bad. The only negative thing was that the bar fridge and safe were not working but then they came to fix it. It was about a 10 min /10 Euro Uber to the old town. I would recommend this property if you want to stay near Dubrovnik but still be near the beaches. "

"We booked two rooms as travelling with our daughter and both were upgraded to gorgeous suites with stunning sea views. The complex is absolutely lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast choice fab - a wide range of fruits, cereals, pastries, cold and cooked foods, pancakes, yoghurts, etc. The pools aren’t very big, but more than adequate for our needs and we never had any issue getting a sunlounger, but it was September. We had a hire car for the duration but took Ubers to and from Dubrovnik as they were so cheap at around 7-8 euros each way and we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for one."

"Absolutely loved this property. Location was a quick walk into the center of old town yet it was very quiet. A nice view of the water was a plus!"

"Great stay at the Valamar. I got an oceanfront suite and the view was amazing. The air conditioner did not cool properly and upon request they will turn it down. It was saying it was 20 but it was really like 24 and too hot. They will come and have the ability to turn it down though. I got the room and half board which included breakfast and dinner and the buffet was really good, live music and a great view from the deck. All in all a great place to stay."
