Stayed for one night on our way to The Garden Route. Hotel was nice, quite large and modern. The best part was its location. It was right on the marina and so we were able to walk to several restaurant options. Sunset drinks and dinner over the marina was memorable! Hotel itself is clean and very nice. Parking was underground and secure. Overall, a good choice for a quick stopover.

Well worth it - great value for money

I recently stayed at Krystal Beach Hotel and had an amazing experience. The check-in process was easy and quick, making for a stress-free arrival. The hotel offers great value for money, and the room was large, clean, modern, and very comfortable, with an excellent view. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The shower and bathroom were nice and well-maintained. The hotel is located in a great area with many different restaurant options nearby. The buffet breakfast was superb, and the live piano music created a relaxing and smooth atmosphere. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I will definitely visit again!

The room did have a few things that needed to be cleaned properly when we arrived, but housekeeping sorted it very quickly. The room and the view was beautiful. I will definitely be staying there again.

Most Disappointing

A disappointing end to a wonderful trip to SA. Room was on forth floor, no elevator from 3rd to 4th floor. Had to haul our luggage up and down. (other hotels in SA had porter assistance). No hairdryer in the room, requested one from reception it didn't arrive. The television screen had two big white spots - internal lenses broken. Room was the smallest we had in SA. There was an issue with the sewers in the hotel and the underground carpark was flooded with a foul smelling water. Patrons transferred this on their footwear into the lifts which stank for the 3 days we were there. We had a nice meal one evening so invited 3 guests to join us on our final evening. Without doubt this was the worst, most disgusting dinner I have every had in a hotel anywhere in the world. I ordered a pork fillet, I got a lump of uncuttable gristle, on a sloppy gloopy mound with burnt vegetables. I was inclined not to make a fuss to avoid spoiling the evening but my guests noticed I wasn't eating. A weak apology from the manager worsened the situation. An offer of a replacement came too late, the 4 other diners had finished their main courses. Our servers remained courteous throughout, it was not their fault. I would probably not have written this review, except the Krystal doubled down with a weak, wringing hands apology the following morning - My meal was not charged on the bill seemed to be the cure all remedy. Not so Krystal this was a most disappointing event which spoiled our evening and stay.
