Got a discounted rate and wanted to be in this area so it seemed like a good option, but the apartment we were in was a lot more worn out than expected - it's in need of a new bed, new carpet, new blinds and some touch up painting. None of this was too big a deal as we were out most of each day, but having no towels on arrival and most soap dispensers empty - some of the basics - was a poor experience.

Very easy access to public transport, beach, malls, name it everything’s there.

Quite loud due to the kids water park down below other than that we had a fabulous time

Firstly I want to start with the positives. Iriyna on the front desk is the biggest asset to this property. She is professional and accommodating. The issues with the building are not her fault. Now the negatives…I don’t have much time so I’ll cut to the chase. The room and the general cleanliness of this building is sub-standard. For a relatively new building it’s in terrible condition. Aside from my room that was very unclean, if you sit by the pool or surrounds and look at the condition of the furniture you’ll immediately see the run down poorly kept standards. Won’t go on too much more. Well done Iriyna but to the owners and management best you lift your game…very poor indeed

Really enjoyed our stay at Ruby Gold Coast. Reception staff couldn't have been more helpful with all our enquiries. Room on the 22nd floor gave us magnificent views of Surfers Paradise, both north and east. So close to light rail, so left the car at home. Walking distance to small grocery stores, and a pleasant 10 min walk to heart of Surfers. Room had everything we needed, clean, quiet and very spacious. For our visit to the Pacific Airshow, we could not have stayed at better accommondation.
