"When we arrived we were greeted by our host, shown our room which was large and had a king sized bed which was very comfortable, also with a sofa bed, patio doors onto a private balcony overlooking the mountains. There was no snow close by but we were assured it may snow anytime. A very enjoyable experience. Thank you"

It runs a breakfast and dinner buffet which is very reasonably priced (if you haven’t selected the half board option at booking) and good quality. The hotel says it offers parking but when we arrived there was none available in its car park . On street parking is possible at €12/day but getting a space nearby was challenging. "I benchmark a 5 star experience against chains like the Peninsula. This was a total surprise. Ski weekend and this hotel is perfect. The staff is all in sync and have consistent, excellent professionalism and are just nice people. So many conveniences here for skiers. Right at a chair lift. On site ski rental. Parking. Shuttle. I actually liked the hotel food!!! Nice bar. It really surprised me. The only thing i could possibly critique is the room.doors are not totally soundproof...

"We were some of the only people there, it was off season for this location so parking and the pool were no problem but you have to drive in order to get to any of the sites or attractions. Staff was friendly and room was big with plenty of space for a large family. A/C worked well."

"Our second time at this hotel and cannot fault the experience at all. The staff are excellent, the rooms comfortable and the breakfast is great. Add to this an excellent location with parking for a super price and I really don't know how it can be beaten. We'll definitely return."

"We are two senior Canadian couples on a road tour of Spain and Portugal. Monasteries de los Basilios Hotel was a very welcome find! The hotel is full of history, easy to find with parking close by (about 150 metres to indoor secure lot. From reception to housekeeping and breakfast, we enjoyed our entire stay!"

"Extremely super property with staff that will go out of their way to assist and please with a great friendly attitude. Ambiance business as well as family friendly with heated outdoor swimming pool and relaxing very nicely maintained area. Great buffet breakfast with variety that can suit to every liking. Eco/nature friendly that is noticeable throughout the property. The hotel has two buildings joined by a walkway on the 3rd floor via elevators. Upscale department stores, cafes and dining options are all around within the easy walking distance. "

"Three rooms were booked for our friends trip to the Alhambra in Granada. All of us were happy with our rooms, which were spacious, clean and well appointed. The breakfast offered in the restaurant was excellent. Bar service for beverage hour was also excellent. Definitely recommend. (We taxied to shopping / dining area as well as to Alhambra.)"
