Extremely slow check-in process, our room was only ready at 5:30pm, desk service was poor. Our room was not cleaned and towels were not replaced for 2 days. I needed to go down to the reception to ask for toilet paper. Staff has poor English knowledge. Food selection was below our expectations. At dinner, there was no table service for drinks, only a single and slow waitress at the bar with a long queue to get some drinks. Hotel facility was good especially for skiing. In general, great hotel but with very poor staff and service.

nice hotel in a very beautiful landscape

The area is very Beautiful and relaxing in the summer. If you do not speak or understand German, communication is very difficult as English is not used by most employees. I want to give the service a happy smiley mostly because of the lady it checked us out and the man who answered our questions and understood some English. But because of the language barrier, you felt a bit of trouble with the other employee. the cleaning under the bed was extremely poor. as well as the floors in the room did not seem clean but the rest of the hotel was super. There are children's playroom and outdoor football field, very nice place for children and adults with wellnes and sports activities. all in all it was a good stay and the food was good but due to our lack of understanding in german and their in english we would choose another place for our winter holiday.

Durchaus weiterzuempfehlen

- rezeptionisinnen sehr freundlich, könnten sich aber in der Umgebung und vor allem mit den Wanderwegen am Hochkar besser auskennen - Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet mehr als ausreichend - Zimmer sauber, Matratzen gut - netter kleiner Saunabereich - super Vorteile durch die “wilde wunderkarte“ Einziger Kritikpunkt: unangekündigtet Baustellenlärm!!!!

Do not believe mileage from any destination!

Per the Expedia site this Hotel is 11.9 miles from where we needed to be. It was actually 52km and took over an hour to get there in the Alps! Very winding roads. The hotel was 98% empty yet they put us in the smallest room they had! The room was actually smaller than our patient practice rooms!! TINY! There was no phone, no pen or paper, no shampoo, no lotion, etc. 2 people with one suitcase and 2 carry-ons barely fit in the room!! We got in about 10PM and were exhausted. We were told, once we got home, that we could have requested another room. This should be a no brainer, most of the place is empty so give the patrons all decent rooms! Breakfast was OK but nothing special since we eat a very healthy diet there wasn't much for us to eat. No smoked salmon as you would expect in Europe. Lots of breads and bagels with sausage and bacon but we do not eat such things.

Super hotel het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Voor ongeveer 8 euro p.p diner buffet ,gratis ontbijt , sauna, activiteiten. Simpel en goed.

Eine Nacht am Hochkar

Kam nur für eine Nacht. Die Anfahrt war abenteuerlich, da dichter Nebel die Sicht beim Autofahren sehr beeinträchtigte. Aber das Hotel ist super, die Bedienung war freundlich und das Frühstücksbuffet einfach großartig.
