Great apartment at Friary but our room was on 3rd floor with no elevator which could be a struggle for some.

Nice apartment in central location
Posted 14 Jan 2024 on HotelsLocation was different to what's on the map (it's right next door to the New County Hotel). The apartment was lovely though, looks like it's been recently refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. £250 damage deposit seemed quite excessive. Not sure if they get a lot of trouble as housekeeping also came in during stay but didn't do any cleaning, make beds, or fold towels etc (I only knew they'd been because they folded over the edge of the toilet paper and emptied the bin) so I assume their main purpose was to check up on the flat.

Immaculate well equipped apartment
Posted 27 Nov 2023 on HotelsThe apartment I was assigned was right next door to the hotel where I picked up the room key. The check in was easy when I read the instructions and realised I had to go to the hotel reception. The apartment was immacuate and well equipped. Much better than a hotel room. There is not a lift so only suitable for people who can manage stairs with luggage. There are three floors.
