Experience the lively atmosphere, watch nail-biting baseball games and admire the retro design of the home ground of the Texas Rangers.

See the best of Texas baseball at Globe Life Park in Arlington. This landmark building has seen many exciting contests fought between masters of the game and is an unmissable destination for baseball fans. Come to watch a game, tour the stadium and experience the excitement of America’s national pastime.

Globe Life Park in Arlington, formerly known as Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, was inaugurated in 1994 with a match between the Texas Rangers and the New York Mets. The park was designed with vintage styles in mind, incorporating the best features of many historic ballparks, such as Tiger Stadium and Fenway Park. Admire its arched façades and red and green color scheme.

No visit to Texas is complete without a day at a ballgame. Book a ticket and enjoy the exciting atmosphere. There is a high home run rate at this ground. The huge video boards use LED technology to provide excellent image quality, bringing the game up-close. You can also listen to announcements from the commentators over loudspeakers.

Even if you don’t follow the teams, shout and celebrate like a Texan and you’ll fit right in with the lively crowd. Look out for those sought-after foul balls. You never know when a player will hit one into the crowd.

Imagine you’re batting and look towards Greene’s Hill. This eye-catching patch of lawn, surrounded by executive suites, is designed to make the white pitcher’s ball easier to spot so the batter can smack it to the fence.

When you get hungry, find snacks at a number of stadium food stands. Chips, burgers, bottled water and salads are on the menu, alongside cheap ice creams on Sundays.

If you’re a baseball aficionado, don’t miss taking the stadium tour. Visit the locker rooms, dugouts and executive suites to see what goes on behind the scenes.

Globe Life Park in Arlington is a short drive northeast from downtown. Book tours and game tickets online.
