Very good customer service, the restaurant and bar were very nice, the breakfast spread was decent and the rooms were very clean.

Room was dusty. Headboard had previous headprints on it. Room had constant clanking noises overnight. Unable to put main light on. Was then told i had to put the two bedside lights on then go back and put the main light on! Staff not helpful or friendly. Uncomfortable seating in the lounge. Hotel looked tired and needs updating including the electrics.

Tho hotel is clean and rooms are very spacious. We really liked our room and how nice everything was but didn’t like the parking arrangement. Because we were told to park in the Waitrose parking area across from the hotel. There are limited parking and then you have to exit via the shop’s door with your luggage. Other than that it was perfect. The breakfast was really good but the staff could be a little more attentive and pay more attention to the cleanliness of the plates and glasses .

Thank you for your feedback, it is encouraging to read positive and constructive reviews. Parking is an issue unfortunately given the location and the local parking restrictions this can be a bit of a headache, you are welcome to use the drop off point at the main doors to drop off your luggage before you park just for future reference. Your comments regarding the breakfast have been passed on.
