"Nice convenient location. Overall the place was nice, but very dated decor overall and in our room. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable to sleep on and the pillows were just as hard. It was very quiet, however our stay was a few days before Christmas, so I’m sure there weren’t many travelers. Would love to go back and stay there, as it was located central to shopping and dining, but because the bed was so horrible to sleep on, we will look elsewhere next time."

"For an older lodge, this place is great. Seemingly recent updates to rooms. Great water views. **Bed was less than desireable, but i have a tempurpedic mattress at home so i am a bit spoiled. Very Hospitable. Dog friendly, no children under 12. Visited in off season so very quiet on the week nights. Door county is a unique place. We have stayed in some exquisite places and some very undesirable places. Not a large chain. The management was very discriptive of their processes and proceedures that may vary from normal lodging. I believe in clear expectations, so this was incredibly helpful. "
