Excellent location for quieter stay
Posted 18 Sep 2024 on HotelsExcellent stay at Gilli T as further around west of main noise so good spot for sunsets and less crowded with the youngsters. Excellent food service breakfast included in price. We booked a deluxe bungalow (no 1) so right alongside pool which was never too busy and you can cross the road to use beach facilities too.
To note- lot of rooms on Gilli T offer beach facing bedrooms but really they are simply that, facing out toward beach side as there is a road between hotels and sea so you are never actually on the beach to see the ocean as set back and down hill slightly so don’t expect a sea view as such.
Our room was spotless had a comfy bed superb double bathroom outside through door and staff were gr8. Free use of hotel bikes, better than having to use the poor horse and cart taxis in my view (that’s another story!)
West side of island good for sunset but the beaches are not as nice very rocky with corals so bear that in mind as only 2 tides per day too

Great stay for a great price
Posted 23 Jan 2024 on HotelsWe had a lovely stay here, for the price it is fantastic value. Is on the quieter side of the island which we really liked. Has got fantastic views on the beach for the sunset, with good sunset happy hour prices. Rooms were lovely, with the his and hers showers surrounded by fish a particularly unique highlight. Only, slightly misleading thing about the ad, is there is no spa here. Overall a great stay, I would recommend and stay again if we found ourselves back on the island.

The rooms are stunning. Love all the woodwork. Beds were comfortable and the linen felt luxurious. Loved the outdoor showers! The property pool is divine. The restaurant provides delicious food and the staff are helpful and friendly. Bikes provided could with some maintenance. Highly recommend and would stay again. Gili T is beautiful.

Posted 15 Aug 2022 on HotelsMike on arrival was brilliant meeting our needs and sorting out what we needed. He had excellent contacts for horse riding and snorkelling. Would highly recommend the hotel and the food and staff are brilliant. The location is superb. Sunsets amazing

Nice bungalows, excellent staff and quiet location
Posted 11 Jan 2020 on HotelsWe loved our cute bungalow, super clean, nicely decorated and with a beautiful outdoor bathroom with its own fish pond :)
The staff has been exceptional, always extremely friendly and attentive. The breakfast delicious, and also the other meals we had here. We liked the area because it was quiet at night with all the tourists partying on the other side of the island :) A definite bonus was the beautiful beach bar that the staff kept in excellent condition and of course the famous sunset views. Overall we enjoyed our staying! even if we found Gili T was not our type.

Beautiful place but little far from the main town. Recommend to persons who love relax and not much people around you.
Amazing sunset every day is Bonus!!

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you found us a little far from the central area but as in all the information we do not hide our location and it only takes 10 minutes by bike to get there. We can also call you a taxi (horse and cart) if you prefer not to cycle.
