Best location to enjoy the city of Gijon. Staff makes you feel like you are at home. Near all the atractions of the city and a very good option to dine. Loved it, will come back for sure.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was very good and is a great bargain. Located right across the street from the ocean. Many, many restaurants and cafes around the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the entire hotel was very clean. We would definately stay there again!!

There were bed bugs in the bed! I got bug bites after the first night, thought it was mosquito. Then it happened again the second night and woke me up. I actually saw several little bed bugs crawling over. I have them on camera. Disgusting.

We had a great view of the water too. It’s in a great location, pretty quiet and close to some good restaurants. Especially Rumble… great fish. Took a lovely walk behind hotel. Super close to beach, but not on beach.

A gem of a hotel at a great price
Posted 24 May 2024 on HotelsAbsolutely couldn't fault our stay at the Asturias. Location is fantastic, with great views over the beach and a minute's walk to the Marina and old town. Service, particularity at check in, was what yours expect at a five star hotel. Room was spotless and comfortable, and our balcony overlooking the sea an unexpected bonus.

The stay was good for the price. The room was clean but there was a lack of upkeep, as the walls had markings, the bathroom didn't drain well, the place felt "run down". I paid a little more for one of the newer rooms. The room was a good size, and the staff were very nice and helpful. The locations is great. As others have said, this is not a 4 star hotel, but for $80/night I was ok with that.
