Historic hotel with a lot of character. Centric and easy to get around. Professional and hospitable staff. Includes free parking for those driving. Only criticism would be breakfast is only buffet and no options to order A La Carte.

This is a nice hotel, we really enjoyed our room which had a spectacular view out over the harbor at sunset. It's also worth noting that the bathroom and shower facility was one of the best we've encountered on this trip.

If you’re 5 feet,10 inches or taller, you won’t be able to sit on the commode. Bathroom was that cramped. I had to go in a public one. The on off light switches were inconsistent. To keep the ac going in the middle of the night, the lights had to be on. So we had to unscrew the light bulbs. We ended up having to use a flashlight to navigate the shower. The staff was inattentive. It took 90 minutes to get sandwiches in th bar, where they allow people to smoke. The smoke wafted up into the hallways. Paper thin walls means you hear neighboring guests snoring and talking. Add it up and the result was a terrible night of sleep. The view was spectacular and for the price it should have been. Avoid this overpriced “accommodation.”

This is an older hotel but fairly well maintained. First impression was it was the scene of an Agatha Christie novel, and I half expected to see Hercule Poirau at breakfast. Well situated to the cable car of The Rock. Parking is in the driveway of the hotel on a first come basis so get in early and dont move it. Nice place. Would recommend
