Quiet, secluded place in Bali
Posted 12 Aug 2017 on HotelsWe spent 2 days here to get away from the craziness and traffic of Ubud. What a great find! It's actually so secluded that it is difficult to find. We had booked a hike to Mt Botur that started at 2 am but the tour driver could not find the place even with internet maps.
The grounds contain 4 Bungalows with 2 rooms each that have a joining bathroom...perfect for my spouse, daughter and me. The rooms are new, well maintained, and clean with many amenities.
The staff catered to our every need. We were actually the only ones staying there. Since there is literally nothing nearby, we ate most of our meals there. The menu was international and the food was good.
We relaxed, swam in their beautiful pool, and one day we borrowed 3 bikes to ride around the rice field countryside and visit nearby temples.
This is a beautiful place at a great price...but it appears that few people have discovered this. If you want to get away from the traffic and get a taste of real rural life in Bali then this is a wonderful place.

Beautiful quiet retreat
Posted 19 Apr 2017 on Hotels4 villas only, means peace in the midst of the rice paddies. The villas are extremely well designed - flexible in that they can be 1 bedroom with Lounge or 2 bedrooms divided by bathroom and kitchenette, with plenty if seating on the verandah overlooking the pool. Big bonus is their lovely driver Tunik, who will take you in and oyt of Ubud every day - about 30min and included in your room rate. I will definitely be back

Absolutely splendid
Posted 9 Apr 2016 on HotelsLovely place to stay, 4 beautiful spacious bungalows with a beautiful infinity pool in the middle. All situated in amongst lush rice paddy fields surrounded by coconut tree jungle. The staff are very friendly and helpful, Tunik - the manager is a great host. Bon Nuyh is located in amongst a small village so can be a little challenging to find - use and trust your GPS, it's definatly there. All up a great place and would definatly return. Very relaxing.

Nice hotel in the middle of rice field
Posted 1 Mar 2016 on WotifComfortable rooms, friendly staff, good facilities, reasonable price, in the middle of rice field, good menu options in restaurant.
Only downside is that this is located away from Ubud town center. Min 40 min drive.

Away from everything-fantastic place to chill out
Posted 2 Mar 2015
Pros: Facilities & helpful and friendly staff. Allow us to have very flexible plan for each days.
Cons: Facilities in the bathroom, e.g. soap. shampoo, hair dryer
Location: Not much. Just relaxing.
Friendly and helpful staff, affordable price. Very nice place for family re-union, very private. It's like you own the whole place if you come in with other family member and book the all the four bungalows.
If you don't mind not seeing Kuta or other popular places, this is the place to chill out.
Generously, they let us check out late in the afternoon, so we didn't have to carry our luggage around Den Pasar or somewhere else while waiting for our flight to Bandung in the evening.

Terrible!
Posted 21 Feb 2014The hotel's location was really secluded and situated far away from most tourist attractions. In addition, the food selection was very limited and pricey. The kitchen staff were very friendly and accommodating but here was this one dishonest male staff who took advantage of us and deliberately took us to expensive, touristy areas and restaurants despite repeated requests to do otherwise. I think he probably received a big, fat commission every time he brought us to those places to be fleeced.
