"Loved this place. They had a small onsen for the women (if they had one for men I missed it bc obviously I cannot go into the men’s room). It was not tattoo friendly but they sold cover sheets to cover your tattoos and still allowed you in. They had a wonderful breakfast buffet. It is located in what seemed to be off the tourist path but the staff was very friendly. Only 40-60 minutes from Ghibli Park."

"Very delighted to be served by the chinese speaking Miss Li. Thanks for your assistance in our check-in. The location is actually convenient for as is in the heart of the main shopping belt of Nagoya. Is between 2 subways station that is going to different part of Nagoya, making it an ideal place for tourist. If there is one thing I am disappointed is that it only give us one time complimentary wine for our few days stay. That perhaps can be revised to one complimentary wine for every night...

"It's conveniently located to the station, although Google maps takes you on a really random route. Standard room for two is cosy but, decent enough to have as a base. It's well stocked with good quality amenities and is very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. We didn't have a chance to try out the spa. Overall brilliant experience for a well reasonable price. "Having stayed at sister brand Onyado, I find that Dormy has a cheaper feel to just about everything. It feels like it is intended more for the business traveller, the quick in & out trip. Room was the smallest of the hotels I stayed in this recent Japan trip. They give free bottles of water whilst we were guests but the moment we checked out and asked for a bottle each for me and my wife for the airport bus journey, they turned us down saying it was only for guests. I literally just checked out....
