"Well when I heard the hotel was on the Nile I thought that was a dream. This hotel is for if you don’t want to spend a lot of money no WiFi in your room only in the lobby and it does not work when everyone is sitting in the lobby using WiFi and smoking it is a quaint little hotel sheets and towels needs to be whiter. "We had a great stay at the Sofitel. Friendly staff, nice rooms and a fantastic view over the River Nile and under the right weather conditions also the pyramids. With a room facing towards south we had direct Nile view all the way around us with a nice long distance to the busy streets of Cairo. The room was nice a cozy. Definitely not brand new, but clean and spacious. Only downside is the poor noice insulation of the balcony door. The party boats can be quite loud - so bring your earbuds!...
