The hotel was nice except for a few things. The elevators would kind of jolt bang and knock which made me a bit uneasy. The bottom of the pool have a brownish stain to it. The assigned room smelled like old urine. The front desk staff was helpful and sorted out our room issue.

I’ve stayed in over 60 hotels in the past year and this was the first where they wanted to charge me an additional $25 for requesting to check in 87 minutes early. There was no one in the parking lot or the lobby, and she confirmed my room was in fact ready. Pathetic customer service. I was just getting off my motorcycle and had to change in the men’s bathroom instead of my waiting room. I don’t care about the $25, but I do care about the greed. I won’t be back.

Thank you so much for staying at our hotel during your visit to Gettysburg. As a destination market, we and other hotels and businesses in town adjust our prices based on multiple factors. Seasonality and special events are some of them. We offer a great value for the price. All additional charges for either pets or early check-in fee are based on additional expenses we as a business have to cover. Guaranteed check-in time for our hotel is 3pm. If you are looking to check in for example at noon and use the room for additional 3 hours there is a cost associated with that for us and that is way we charge a small fee of 25 dollars to offset the cost. We hope you will consider us again in Gettysburg.

Only stayed 1 night for Parents Weekend at Gettysburg. The breakfast was resort-worthy and as a Hilton Honors member we also were able to order from the menu as well as take from buffet. This made a huge difference in our stay, did not need to eat lunch. The rooms were basic, mattresses on beds were too soft for my taste but room and hotel was clean. Front desk check in was easy, staff was polite. Hotel nicely decorated for fall season including an small outdoor firepit. Surrounding area is Giant shopping strip mall so not much to walk to. Entrance to hotel needs to be more clear. You need enter before the sign.
