Paid top dollar and got the 2 bedroom Apartment only to find it was very dusty and smelled mouldy, the stove also did not work so I was not able to make any of my own food for the entire stay.

The check in staff had my room ready by 1230, due to my early arrival and were very accommodating. The view of the ocean, priceless.

The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit I stayed is in good condition, spacious and clean. But the staff, from check in, dining through check out... may need more training as any of them cannot answer guest's stardard queries, example : member's benefit, check out time, extra charge even early check out at 8:45am. Staffs at the restaurant also cannot response to queries, like what is the fish / soup of the day, or how many pieces of nugget in a dish etc. They would first to answer "i don't know" immediately, until we insisted to check with the chef.

Upon checkin room was untidy bed not made properly sheets dirty... complained and immediatly received free upgrade and late check out so hotel staff were great, roim end up being amazing thanks mantra

The property is in a fabulous location and is great, but sadly the owner of the unit we were staying in has NOT kept up the maintenance. This is not the responsibility of Mantra, they only service and organize the accommodation. Despite this, the cleanliness of the apartment was good, although there were stains on the carpet and a serious water leak from the main bedroom window causing dripping all night and wet carpet near it. Mantra advised they were contacting the owners.

Cleaning was not up to standard considering I paid for a premium property. Every member of my family was left with bronchitis and extreme sinus infection due to the excessively dusty surfaces through majority of the property The spa pool smelt like mould and algae and had insufficient amount of chloride added to the water to be at a safe swimmable status The mantra name has been tainted in comparison to the excellent namesakes nationwide.Try to avoid staying here if you can help it

Easy check in. Secure parking. Not sure it was great value for the price but did the job. Rooms clean but tired, especially bathroom. Room was roadside so a bit of noise from passing cars and pedestrians. Foxtel did not seem to be available as advertised and couch not particularly comfortable.
